Hey guys
I've made a blunder and need a little support in resolving if possible.
I've taken my window piece for my vehicle and masked out all the windows internally and the hole lot externally so i can paint the frames on the inside.
First model in ages and I got primer happy and have just realised like a tit that when i now insert the window it will be a nice grey primer rather than he nice black i wanted.
What should i use to remove the primer with? ( its the tamiya light grey )
Would a white spirit scrub do it?
Thank you

I think the easiest thing to do would be to paint both sides black, your going to have to remask both sides or leave the inside primer while you paint the outside black. Or you go the stripping method.

you can try 90% alcohol. Try it on a scrap piece of clear sprue tree. Even leaving it in windex for a small amount of time. But always try it on a piece of scrap first to make sure it doesn't fog the clear.

Lol, I almost did this the other day too!
You should be able to just strip the primer off in the same way you would strip the paint off a body back to the bare plastic.

Castrol Super Clean (CSC, purple container) works well and won't damage the clear plastic parts.
