I have a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse rs, 2.4L that I just changed the clutch, timing belt, serpentine belt, and water pump. Went to start it and drove it around the block. Only put it in first and second gear so far but the new clutch seems to be working. The problem is that I feel a huge drop in horsepower and the engine is stalling whenever I would stop at a stop sign, even with the clutch petal all the way in and in neutral. I am worried that I don’t have the teeth placed right in the timing belt and its causing the stalling and the drop in power. Is there a way to test to see if this is for sure the problem? Any other ideas? If it is the timing belt what has to be done to fix it? Whole thing out again and start from square one?
Thanks

Probally out of time, redo/check your timing to start with..
