I have a 95 DX Coupe, and there are only 2 places to install a CD player, or any kind of audio... the stock radio slot, and the air conditioning slot... let's say that I did this... how much do you think it would cost to have a professional place fiberglass a place to put my air/heating controls under my steering wheel? thanks!

p.s. I am doing this to install a screen and seperate dvd player, both in-dash... so both slots would be taken up...

ok so you want to move the a/c and heating controls? um why don't you just put the CD player in a box next to the passenger seat on the side of the trasmission bulge? and you can mount the LCD unit above the dash with no problems.. unless it is meant to be an in dash item.. otherwise I suggest you go out, and find a fiberglass shop, or even make your own mold, you'd have to go to an auto store and buy a fiberglass kit, and fiberglass filler, and get a good polisher...and just go to work trying different designs, best be would be to do a completely flat surface, curves are really hard to do... and use a vacuum, and giant plastic bag to vacuum form the fiberglass, hand laid is not as uniform, and can crack easily.

The heater controls have a cable control. you gotta be careful when you move it because it wont work in just any spot or position.
