Oil leak!!! Help!!!

so my wives 2000 x has 110,000 miles and an oil leak around the heads/valve covers/exhaust manifold, i cant see the origin of the leak but i can see ( from under the passenger side looking up) the head is wet with oil and it drips down onto the exhaust heat shields, how hard is it to replace the head gasket, any tips?
