s-10 2.2 code 0133

i know that this a o2 sensor code but before i replace sensor i was wondering if exaust leak @ exaust pipe to manifold flange was leaking slightly would cause this code. it says o2 slow response

One of the first things they want you to check in the diagnostic charts is for exhaust leaks.
