The bolt is backed out, but the hose won't seperate from caliper. Didn't want to bang on it. Any Ideas? thx in advance. Also brake pads have a rivet that is wearing on the piston. Are you suppose to grind them off?

pull the bolt all the way out and gently pry between the brass part of the hose and the caliper.
If something is rubbing on the on the piston and causing it to wear than either the wrong parts are installed or they are installed incorrectly. You should not have to grind anything with the correct parts.
