Power steering suddenly gone?

I have a 98 chevy silverado c/k1500 extended cab, vortex 5.7.
Power steering all of a sudden gone. Tried to bleed the line a little bit and tried rocking steering back and forth to lock position to see if maybe there was any air in the line. still hard to turn the wheel (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/#). any ideas

remove the belt on the pump see if the pulley pulls out .
