wip Ferrari 599 spider

hello ,well this particular project was planed as a sotck one, but then I thought that I`ve seen some close top 599s in various styles (hamman,novitec )but none a spider ,well let the pics do the talking of course there is a lot of work ahead, hoping this project turns out ok. better pics will come later on ,thanks for watching and comments are always welcome

Nice start! The tonneau cover looks well integrated, a tough thing to do on most chop-tops. What color scheme are you thinking about doing? Looks like you have already painted the body yellow but doesn't look to be the final coat.

Nice work so far, Kinda surprised that Ferrari Didnt do a Spider Version of the 599, considering there is a 550 spider & the 575 super america of the previous model.

They are, just not presented to the public yet. Ferrari apparently presented a semi-SuperAmerica version to a select few people at Pebble Beach last month. No pics, as phones and cameras were confiscated before the event, but some descriptions leaked out. Engine from the 599 GTO, rear buttresses, removable, occasional use soft top.
