First time here.
1996 Park Avenue 5.8 liter.
First time it happened I'd been running about 20 miles, and the motor shut off. I coasted to shoulder and tried to restart. Engine cranked, but would not stay running. All power windows were dead, Every other electric option still worked.
Tow truck arrived in a half hour, and the driver promptly lowered the power window. Car started and ran fine when I got towed home.
It took a while for the problem to resurface. It had the same to symptoms-no ignition and no power windows. Problem resolved itself in a half hour again.
Any ideas?

Does anyone know where or how I can identify what fuses/relays/breakers are behind the wall on the passenger side of the car.
Is there an easy way to remove this panel. I'm trying to find a common between ignition and power windows.
Sometimes when the car's been running a while, both the engine and power windows quit for about half hour, and then all is fine until the next time.

Have you checked the battery and charger?

It should be noted in the owner's manual as well as inside the kick panel if I remember correctly. Remove the black plastic panel and drop the glove box to get to the fuse panel. I think there is a schematic diagram attached to the inside of the panel.

If owners manual lost, check for one in the salvage yard.
