Hello out there to all you bimmer moterheads!
My name is steve and I'm thinking about buying my first bmw, an 07 or 08 328i coupe. I would like to ask a few questions to all the brilliant minds who know more about BMWs than I do. First one's a softball, Does this model have a timing belt or a timing chain?
2) While researching this model I noticed that the front tires have a different size than the rear tires. Why is this? Will I have to buy different sizes in the future?
3) I'm aware of the controversy surrounding run-flat tires. When I have to buy new tires will I need to replace run-flats or can I buy regular performance ones?
4) With the coupe having a longer door I anticipate problems getting in and out of tight parking spaces especially when I have to park between two other vehicles. I can get used to dropping people off before I park but I will still have the problem of exiting myself. Any ideas on how to minimize this potential annoying problem?
