05 Malibu cruise control steering wheel light out

The lamp behind the cruise control button on the steering wheel of my '05 Malibu (new body style) has gone out. Can this bulb be replaced or will I have to replace the entire switch?

as far a I know, you can't get a bulb in it. Chevrolets have big time problems with interior lights if you ask me. Had several from mid 90s to present day and they all have light problems with radios, hvac controls, steering wheel controls, etc. hate to even mess with them when they work fine except lights, but I know how you feel, the details drive me nuts too....

The Cruise light on my '04 Maxxes' steering wheel just went out yesterday. I'm assuming that cruise still works? Won't get to try it for a few days now....

Holy old post batman! It is about 6 months out... The cruise should work fine though, just the annoyance of the light out...
