does anybody know what i would have to do to get to the bearing and housing assembly or would i have to get a whole new steering column it is # 11 in the picture

it should be repairable hard to see in picture but looks to be torn down to
tilt mech.shouldnt be hard pull steering wh,turn sign sw,levers(tilt/turn)
is it a bearing #11??dont forget air bag!! you dont give a year

The part number is 26039394, it looks like you can still get it but at that price I would go to a junk yard.

Wtf just for that little aluminum piece!? I was probably going to look for a column is there any thing special I should know about changing it?

I saw one place that wanted over $1000 for it.
But as far as I know disconnecting the Airbag first and not supporting the whole column via the lower mounting bolts are the only biggies.
