Yep - I'm Sydney based and drive an imported SiR 4th gen. Welcome in - just be careful using Aussie humour on the boards - sometimes it loses a lot in the "translation" :devil: :devil: :devil:

haha funny story about translation differences, some of my highschool football team went over to aussie land for some international deal, well they were at an elementary school, and the coach began to sing the Baseball song "Root For the hometeam" heh


apparently to "root" also means to "shag" or "put it to her" or "Tap it"

I heard that from a Henry Rollins comedy show one time.....my friend went over to Australia and New Zealand in Jr High and I think she said that the slang terms for a sweater in Australia and a condom in New Zealand were the same word
