Looking for shocks n springs

I have decided that I am gunna change my shocks and springs when i lower the DX soon,
In the UK for the cheapest nastiest set of shocks n springs it is £288 which is $459.36 to be exact.
now could i get a nice set of shocks an springs from the USA for less than that and if so where can i get em ???
