Bad, bad Ales... How can you do something like that to the nice folks of AF... ;)
Seriously, great selection of models, no need to feel bad about buying all seven. How can you pick just one from these?

My painting skills are still way under the skill level needed to paint the Sierra as shown in the box. The colors needed are TS23 (light blue), TS-26 (pure white) and X2+X14 (white+sky blue). I think I will make it a street version. Not sure about the color. Probably park green. What do you think?
The Supra will be in burgundy like your (ales) BMW E34 since that was the color of the 1st Supra I saw and kept staring at it like this .
The BMW will be in bright silver (Tamiya MS-2 for Mini 4wd) . It is brighter (at least the cap looks like it) than the regular Tamiya silver.
The Koenig 928 will be in gold. Waiting for MythosGR to say "When". ;)
Not sure about the rest yet. If anyone have other ideas please let me know. I know someone will tell me to send him/her some kits. I can do that but you will have to pay for it. :D

I know, I have the kit and I won't be caught dead painting it as it's supposed to be. So mine will be a street version RS500 and it will be blue so stay away from that colour :p

I did not want to open another thread so here are the 7 kits I got today.
Nothing special with the Nissan 180 SX, R33 and Toyota Supra. They are quite popular here.
The wheels are 18 inches by the way. Pretty nice.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/154858kits03.jpg
What surprised me were the AMG Mercedes 600 SEL and Volvo 850 Turbo Estate. I love Volvos. :bigthumb:
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/726857kits04.jpg
The front seats of the AMG is covered and not holow like other kits. No more filling.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/413610Amgmerc01.jpg
And the Volvo comes with floor carpeting sticker. Very nice touch. :bigthumb:

Anyone here knows other kits that come with carpeting?

i spend ever dime i have on models... lucky my girlfriend covers the bills when i over spend. yeah actually i didnt know i had bought this many in 3 weeks time till i took a picture. no wonder my girl is annoyed all the time. one day ill take a pic of all my kit boxes. i actually have a rental storage space for them and my real car parts. its disguesting to look at... i try not to go to the space cus it makes me ill. i havent bought any new clothes in like a year! i just buy models. to say the least im very popular at the hobby shop. whats worse is most of these models in the picture are in the works... i really have to start doing one model at a time

There is this old rich lawyer that goes to one of the local shops here and he buys every single new model that comes in. 1/12 to 1/43, $10-$200 it doesnt matter, hes crazy. whats worst is that he doesnt even build them... he just collects. never built one in his life. he has 2 rooms in his house full of models. NO LIE!!!! God i want to get in his will!!!!! ive offered to build some of his kits and he said no thanks. he just likes look at all the parts. i guess its a fetish or something

I'm just a novice in this modelling thing, but for my first kit I bought the same Tamiya's F40 as you did. Have you started on it yet? How is it like? I found only one little problem: the exhaust tips dont exactly fit in their place, so I had to sand the exhaust box supports a little...Hope this helps you when you start it

oh also i thought my post about the storage space sounded arrogant after reading again so i want to point out that the majority of the space holds a 65' Barracuda (real car), 90' and 93' 240SX (parts cars for my 92' 240SX) and alot of other real car parts as my brother and i are car collectors. but i would say there are 150+ models as well but i have been collecting for 10+ years and bought a few lots here and there and ive got about 60 kits at the house. i also was selling and locating kits for a while but to many people didnt pay up so ive got stuff i dont even care about.
