my 93 explorer is dead!!

Not sure if its related but just got my ac system refilled Sat. Sunday go to start it and its dead, no juice and I hear clicking when I try to starty(so I think starter). After several times I am able to start it. I let it run about 25 minutes and go to the gym. I leave the gym after an hour and it wont start and it cant be jumped...... Still clicking and thinking starter but as soon as we hook up the battery cables(both cars off) my lights come on.... Any ideas?? and could the ac system have anything to do with it?? Thanks! HEY YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY AND REPLACE THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE SETUP THE WHOLE THING, BECAUSE IT GETS WORN DOWN TOWARDS THE STARTER AND WONT STAR, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT FIXED, I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS AFTER THAT.,,.TRY IT.
