Cam timing marks

Had a timing belt go on my H22 VTEC. I'm ready to replace the belts but my Chilton's manual is vague about the proper position of the cam timing marks (I think they're trying to cover too many models in one book). Both cam sprockets have arrows on them but I can't figure out what to align them to. Straight up? Can anyone help? Thanks!
