Well it's a sad, sad day. I have too many cars and I must get rid of one.
I'm posting just to see if there is any interest but not positive on if I'm going to sell or not.
I have a 1978 Trans Am WS6. 6.6L 400 block, 4spd manual, T-tops(not factory), power windows, Chesnut Brown Exterior with gold trim, Camel(tan) interior. As far as I know everything is original even the 8-track player and all decals on the car. Speedo shows 75,XXX but hasn't worked since I've owned it. It runs and drives but burns oil. Body is in good shape and the only rot on the car is around the rear window (common) and passenger side door( I have a good one I will include)
The car is in need of a major resto which I was planning on doing but due to time restraints and not enough funds I can no longer do. If you are familiar with restoration, this should be no problem. I WILL NOT sell the car to someone who is going part it out. I want it to go to a good home were it will be restored to its former glory. I paid $1800 for it two years ago so I'm looking somewhere in that ball park for it. I have pics if requested. Serious Inquires only please.
Thanks.

I would buy that hands down if I didn't just buy a car.:(
Do you know how rare a 4 speed is in those cars? 77-78 front end is the only ones I like, and I love them. My buddy just bought a 77 T/A, it is sweet. It's automatic though, but it has a Hurst Dual Gate shifter, so thats cool.
I would even travel from PA to CT to get it no problem. Oh well, sorry no sale.
You shouldn't have a problem selling it because it is so rare, even the one my friend bought the guy said he got a gazillion calls on it after he even took it out of the local paper. Good Luck.
Do you have a pic so I can drool a little?
