IMO the wing on the back is too big not the top one the middle one

most asked ? was about the wheels ! the wheels came from AMTs STREET HEAT snapfast kit # 31905 , which i think are OOP now but i have some made in resin , for some more projects , but i still dont know if i will keep these wheels on here , some AF members think they should go , i would like to find some VIP wheels but no one in my area has them , i am open to suggestion on a good lookin wheel :flash: next ? asked was what color ? as of right now i dont know what colors LOL i want this toy to be , shot me some schemes or color ideas you think it would look good as ! the most negative answer i got was on the rear hatch wing in the middle , what i have done is , i took a wing off a prodrag car and added in the rear and it will have all the brace bars added to it so it has all the realisam of the fin , and yes it looks a little big but when all done up , it should fit the look of the car , as for thr rear taillights i just molded them in and then drilled 3 holes in each for brake light , turn signal and the the back up light , i made them too lokk french,or tunneled , , well got to go i share more later David

Don't like rims, IMO they're too large. But hey, other people are trying to pull of huge rims on a civic too.

I still like that wild merc you built better.

ok here my civic after about 5hrs worth of paint time , this all by hand and i also used gel ink pens ,still need to add some things and them clear it , hope you all like it later David

SWEET PAINT JOB!!!! i should try that, that looks awesome. Who would have thought to use jell pens as a paint....lol. keep up the good works and the rims are great too, i have 3 sets.

I'm not a big fan of civics, but this one just might convert me to your side. that has to be the craziest looking car I've ever seen, and it isn't even finished yet! well, I just hope you even it out a little and continue the insanity throughout the remainder of the build! The graphics are a top notch addition to the electric blue. how big would those rims be anyway? they look like magnesium rims!

dude the paint looks great, what kinda pens are u using, and i realy love the way you have free formed the kit, in the end if you love it then do it, taste is always individual but it is skill that brings a good job to life, so on a skill scale i would give you a big big pat on the back and say keep modding and follow you wildest paint dreams, will be looking for more stuff from u:devil:

I just noticed... 5-lug wheels, Type R conversion. :)

ok been on the bench working on my civic today and i got the interior and the motor all done up , add a braided radiator hose and plug wires ,and plug boots , most of the rest is stock parts with paint detail , made the interior a bright blue and added some of the color from the out side of the car to the inside and then add 3 8" sub woffers , 8 6x6s , thats the newest age of subs from Ground Zero , their 6x6 are rated to 400 watts each and drop down to a half of ohm , and thats some bass , so i add 8 for the fun of it :silly2: , then its also got a dvd player built in to the dash , and dvd is popping out , and i also added a 6 disc in dash headunit , its all kenwood ,and then i added a PS2 with a filp screen and added two paddels and a game popping out of it as while , then added a tach , boost gage ,water temp,and oil pressure ,added those to where the air vents where and pointed them to the driver ,and then added a modelcar garage sterring wheel , the front seats and the rear head rest are from a geo storm promo kit and the console is made of bondo and then carved out to the style i was looking for , well here are some pics hope you like

David.. man another killer model.. i love that interior.. One thing i noticed thought.. On your motor you have the plug wires going to the wrong spot.. they go under the middle of the valve cover. other then that that car is killer.. Later Rick S

I am simply amazed at your amount of creativity!! I can really see your own artistic style through this build. I am not sure how much you scratch built (PS2, CD player??) but either way the detail completly floors me. It looks very animated and to be honest this is so far away from anything I would build for my self in real life or as a model because it's just not my taste (being the racer that I am) But have so much respect for how well you pulled it off.
The only thing I can see that does not look right is the spark plug wires, they don't lead to were the header bolts on like most V8s, they run underneath the sparkplug cover were you layed the Mugen decal. That is really the only thing I can critic abou this kit. You are definetely one of the more Artistic style modelers I have seen on here, I hope to see much more from you:)
