funny sound at low rpm

just noticed it today, say when im in 2nd and almst stop then take off(still in second) theres like a rattling sound comin from the engine i have heard it on other peoples cars but never mine, any one know waht it can be? :confused:

Is it a tinny sound? maybe its one of the heat shields starting to come loose on your exhaust....

its probably a heat shield

sounds like its coming from the engine, but ill check the heat shield, i think i took em off though

its not a good thing to remove those heat shields, they are there for a reason.

ya but the resinator is off so not as much heat builds up plus that shit is annoying when it rattles, its not like its an oldschool an u can feel the heat from the dual exhaust.

maybe your car is detonating/pinging since its going under slight load in 2nd gear when you start to accelerate from an almost dead stop...
