Best part is when u finally finish working on the model u have been making.

Ya, I have to agree. When everything is all finished and you get to start the next! :D

When its all finished...your happy with it....taken a few pics and posted on AF to get peoples feedback :cool:

finishing a long and hard project. Or even an easy one I guess.

Best part is finishing one and letting people se your work. Its funny, when you look at a new kit your like, man thats alot of pieces. But when you finish it, its cool to see all the pieces and your hard work come together into something you can be proud of.

same. also having an unique model that noone have make is great too (modification)

the worst: When it's all finished.. and while polishing you reach the primer or drop a bit of paint on the body and you need to start all over !

also reaction with some paint is a pain... sanding sanding sanding

Best part is when nothing is glued, worst part is when the car is finished... that's when the fun stops. I take my time on my models because I enjoy the building process, not because I like completed models. It's like saying " The best part of racing a car on a track is when you finish the race..." Driving is more fun than finishing :D .

the best part for me is seeing it all coming together from a heap of parts and turning into something beautiful, like a huge metamorphosis, the finished product ends up taking up less room too! what a two in one package hobby.

IMO the best part is finishing the model and having it turn out exactly as you wanted it too. But I enjoy building every part of the model.

Does searching for the model count? It is not part of the making process, but I enjoy it too. :)

No the BEST part of building a kit is getting high on the glue/paint fumes!!:bloated: :bloated:

It's when you finish it and people see it and say 'Hey that's good where did you get it?' and they look at you in total disbelief when you say that it was a model kit you build yourself!!
Especially when they're such a Ferrari F1 fan they offer you £125 for the F1-2000 you've just built!!

I like painting the body and kitbashing the most. :)

Seriously, it's the enjoyment and pleasure of finally owning the car (or truck) of your dreams that you would otherwise not be able to afford in a lifetime or two.

oh good im not the only one who does that! :D i like building custom models, they just seem more special!

The best part when I bulding the models is when modified the body open the doors, and make the cars change like to my imaginations. is the power to created something like to you see or to yo want. If you don´t have money what is the best way to take a cars same to you like.

I like getting a kit, either by mail or in a store, breaking it open and fiddling with it, organizing parts for paint, gluing stuff like the engine block together, finding all the imperfections and mold lines and sanding them. I love just sitting there with the bare plastic and the instructions dreaming and conceptualizing what I'm going to do to it, how it's going to look and sit. Maybe that's why so many of my models haven't gotten past that point...:licker:

i have some models that ar ejust painted and ive either decided to give up on them or i dont wanna ruin them by finishing the model
