Lift Glass Circuit Breaker

The AC compressor in my daughter's 99 GMC Jimmy was not kicking on, so I suspected a fuse or circuit breaker might be a problem. I switched the circuit breaker for the "Lift Glass" with the one for the A/C, since they were marked with the same ID. The AC compressor now kicks on, so that problem is solved, but can someone tell me what is the lift glass function? The owners manual does not identify it in their list of abbreviations for the engine compartment fuse/circuit breaker box.
