B20 supercharging question

Would a Integra non vtec supercharger work on a B20 engine. That could turn out one monster Cr-V. The boost controllers and fuel map adjuster should work too right. Imagine a Cr-v with about 6-9 pounds off boost. 170- almost 200 horse. CR- Vicious.
Thanks
Lewda

the SC would bolt up, B18B and B20B engines are the same except for the bore.

but for the electronics I doubt the CRV and teg have the same computer, so if they are specific for the P75 or whatever ECU the teg is running then maybe not. but if it works with all non vtec ecus then I bet it would.

would this still be in a crv or no

What kind of supercharger is it? Hopefully not a JRSC, they suck. Vortech isn't too bad.

Um yeah it is staying in a crv it would be a 2001 crv. couldnt u sent the ecu to JET and tell them what u r doing then they will program it sry but i think it will be a JRSC i heard vortech was unreliable.

Vortech may be a little unreliable if you arent up on regular maintance when compared to the JRSC... but it should make more power then the JRSC. And BTW - if you ever cared to look at the Jackson Racing website you would have found this...

When I said 200 hp I was guessing and are u saying that u cant build a 200 hp crv??? that dyno is good and no i haventbeen to the website but thanks. Would u suggest super charging a CRV with 35K miles or not...... about 45hp extra with nothing else is pretty good. Im factoring out the ignition and muffler

I would suggest getting a turbo kit.

Hello? How can you say a turbo is not good for a daily driver? Do you know how many factory turbo cars there are out there, not to mention a lot of peeps installing turbos on their daily drivers. Any turbo kit for a B series should work. Greddy kits are probably the most reliable and complete turbo kit out there.

wouldnt turbo be better for a daily driver, far better gas mileage is possible isnt it, cuz on a SC isnt boost dependant on RPM, cuz it is gear driven, and on a turbo its dependant on RPM and on the position of the pedal cuz if it is reved up to like 4k and you have it stomped more air is coming in, more exhaust is coming out, faster spinning turbo, more air in, burns more fuel and if you arent pudshing the pedal to the floor at 4k, it doesnt boost as much and you dont burn as much fuel. correct?
