look to spend around 3k for a good job, where they will repaint pretty much everything, which is what you need if you want the paint to match

but im not changing the color. im keeping it the same so they dont have to paint anything but the outside

You want a paint job that is going to last years, and look good? Get ready to spend around $3000+

Or you can just go to Earl Shieb/Macco/1 Day Paint and get a crappy job for less than $800

i got into a bad accident and while getting it repaired, im getting it repainted as well....

im going from rosewood to neptune blue. the paint job is going to cost me about 1500. Its not bad..i harassed the hell out of the guy to make sure he's doing a good job and what he's going to do....he's gonna use the nissan factory paint....sand it down..primer....6 coats of paint....3 clear coats...stuff like that.. it really depends man.

dont go maaco. you'll probably be spending...for a decent one...around 2-3g's...but since you're only repainting it it may be a little less

JBL is right. you get what you pay for.

make sure you ask around for the rep of the guy painting it...in my case, i've checked and this guy is good...

good luck

ok that sucks, didnt want to spend to much but thanks for the advice, saved me from making a mistake.

now let me ask this...

the reason im getting it repainted is because i decided to take off the pin stripes on my car. when i took them off i discovered that half the car already had pin stripes that were painted over. i want to get rid of the pin stripes underneath a very thin coat of green paint. a lot of people said that between blending the paint already on the car with the paint they'll put on, sanding etc. and also getting a body kit later on, it would probably be cheeper to get the whole car repainted.

do you think thats true?
