I Love My Subordinate--Not.

Yeah, so I got this person who's basically lower in rank at another board, and yet makes such a lovely comment that I finally ask my fellow admins to remove him from his post (he's done this more than once at me, as well as other admins in general). To wit:

Milliardo, don't reply on behalf of the staff. If we would have said no, then you'd have went and spoken for us, which is crap cause you aren't staff.

Oh yeah, like I am not admin of the board, and have some responsibility on the site as well (not directly, but as admin I still oversee the staff).

What do admin and even mods here do to such unruly mods? I requested to have him demoted, and even banned...

Mods deal with mods in private in this board. There has been incidence of mod banning here though.

By and large,we have been very lucky with our mods,differences of opinion are smoothed over before they get out of hand.Considering that the site has been going for so long,and with so many mods past and present,the fact that we have only had to 'lose' one mod is a pretty good record.:)

Yep, with salary grading and benefits.....get high enough up and you get a 'forum car' and everything, maybe even a monitor with a view :p
