Ok in the front my car has 185/65/14 and the back it has 195/60/14 and there is a 1 inch ride height between the front and back..i have measured the fenders to ground and also the gaps and tires...and they are each 1 inch difference so my question is if i put got rid of the 190s and put some 185/65/14 on the back would it level out my car and get ride of the 1 inch difference.thanks

185/65R14

DIAMETER: 23.5" SECTION WIDTH: 7.3" SIDEWALL HEIGHT: 4.7"
MINIMUM RIM WIDTH: 5.0" MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH: 6.5"
REVOLUTIONS PER MILE: 860

195/60R14

DIAMETER: 23.2" SECTION WIDTH: 7.7" SIDEWALL HEIGHT: 4.6"
MINIMUM RIM WIDTH: 5.5" MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH: 7.0"
REVOLUTIONS PER MILE: 869

you would loose about .3"

when you say lose .3 you mean reduce fender gap space?.......

Thanks for responding to this

.3" ride height
you would reduce wheel gap slightly also

set your rear tire pressure @ 10psi & you will get that inch your looking for

is 10 psi safe to drive on though.regular tir epressure is like 35 for that tire and 10 would seem to make it bulge out and ride crappy.......and if it is true I had no idea reducing tire pressure would lower ride height.thanks for the responses

It was a joke. What happens if you have a flat? your ride height decreases

DIAMETER: 23.5"

195/60R14

Ok so one time before i buy these 185/65/14 i wanna get it straight.....it will lower my car by roughly.3 inches but it wouldnt raise it any.becuz i want to reduce fender gap and lower my car but i dont want it to raise it any so Im making sure that the 185s would lower the car and not raise it cuz if it would raise the car any iw ould just stay with the 195 until i can get some 17s.thanks for the help

Go to a tire store & compare the tires side by side. You find that the difference is hardly noticeable.
