ZC in Canada?

Does anyone know of a good importer that can get me a zc in Canada?

I got my ZC from Luckystar In toronto... i can't say anything bad about em.. got it for 700$ shipped to my door (short block) 2 years ago.

a little auto lingo for you

Short block = motor no transmission

Long block = Motor & transmission

Block = motor minus Head

and that was 700$ CND !

unless i can get a long block, but still, thats an awesome price

I used my SI transmission ( any d-series will work ) that way i did not need to swap axels.

the ZC tranny is available but need 89 teg axels and a half shaft.

also you might want to keep a head out for a 89 teg ECU that is the best ECU fro the ZC, 7200 Redline, 7800 fuel cutoff, no gouvernor, DOHC maps and agressive fuel.

I may have one for grabs here pretty soon ( B16 going in pretty soon)

your Car being a CX to use the Teg axels you will need to change the Wheel Hubs with Si ones. or the axels will not fit.

alright, can i still use the CX tranny for a bit tho?

i might buy one this winter to build up and i might get a ton of stuff to do the swap, ECU, all the MPFI wiring, Teg Axels, Teg Hubs ect... and put it in next summer maybe, i just need the money for it first hehe

I will be selling my ZC, Header, 89 Teg ECU, tranny if you want it (needs rebuild) and anything that I don't need for the swap ( axels, Shifter linkage... ect) for like 800 cnd + shipping

the motor needs a little TLC it smokes a little (if your gonna rebuild it that will fix that)
the Axels are less than 3 months old (napa with new outer joints)
tranny has a bad 2nd gear and 3rd is starting to go.

It looks like that luckystar place doesn't have a zc in stock right now, i figure theres got to be at least one place in alberta or bc.

they want 999 for the short block and 1299 for the long, thats seems a little to pricey. I have a fair bit of money at my disposal, but i'm still a cheep fuckin basterd. so i'm guna keep lookin, i apperciate the help if anyone elses sees something

yeah, i usually clear a grand a month, and i had been saving for awhile so i had close to 7 grand when i went to buy my car which i only paid 3400 for. so that leaves me for the 2 grand in body work i'm doing, the about 400 i did in repairs when i got the car. and with the money i have 1500 after I pay for the body work cause i got paid today. So i hope to get the ZC and all the parts i need for that much, but it might be wishful thinking. i'm a cheep guy, but I also like getting the best. I'm not afraid to blow 30 bucks on iridium spark plugs, because they were on sale from 45. ha, i wonder if performance sparks only makes my oil burning worse.
