New Here - 90 Civic HB DX

I have recently purchased a 1990 Civic HB DX as a fun / learning toy.

It's in bad shape, but cost practically nothing. I believe it runs. Will find out tonight.

So far I've learned that it likely needs a main relay after reading these forums. The guy I bought it from says it has the traditional won't start when hot issue.

Honda dealer best place for that? Suggestions?

I'll be cleaning and looking it all over this weekend. Probably do the normal tune up stuff. New plugs, gaskets, wires, filters, possibly belts, hoses, etc. Maybe the distributor too.

Suggestions on where to get a dizzy? Like new or new.

I desperately need seats. Black would be great.

It'll be slowly restored to driveability during my leisure time, so expect some questions from me from time to time.

Cleaned up exterior / interior last night. Cleaned engine today.

Replaced main relay today. Fixed the hot start problem.

I need all suggestions to "tighten" up the front end of an old Civic.

It's a bit loose and sloshy feeling. What bushings, joints etc might be replaced to restore the factory feel?

Brakes tomorrow, and hopefully two tires.

I'll have the pics up as I go later on this week.
