Wierd thing with brakes

When I come to a stop on dry pavement the brakes crunch I don't get any warning lights they just crunch. Any ideas it is driving me nuts

I'm a bit confused as well... You mean you're feeling pulsing in the pedal like ABS is kicking in?

Most brake pads have built into them devices that will make a noise when the pads have excessive wear and need replacing . This noise is to let you know the brakes need attention. I think this is probably what you're hearing . You should have them checked . Good luck !

My guess would be a speed sensor. Sounds like a connection is flaky enough to make the computer think a wheel has locked up, but not bad enough to set a code.
