okay...after browsing through the modeling forums for a few weeks, you guys finally got me. I succumb....I went out today and got three models :) Its my first time modelling in about ten years...anyway, all of the kits are Revell-Monogram (they don't sell Tamiya kits around here :( ) they are the 2000 C5-R, a '95 Corvette ZR1, and a '98 Saleen mustang speedster. got all of my supplies and I'm ready to start :)

I'll let you know how it goes...

Nope just some little hole in the wall (literally :D) in the Vietnamese part of Toronto. It is so crammed with kits they go to the ceiling and the isles are so tight you have to squeeze just to get past people, and the prices are the best I've seen, well in Canada anyway.

Get mine all from *MR MODELS* here in P.Nth. Has a very good shop that always has the latest kits etc and has good prices. He is hoping to get a website up soon.

I am pretty much done with the saleen...working on the body now. I have already primed, painted, used rubbing compund, and added decals. Would it be a good idea to wax it now with the decals on, or will the cause problems?

I think P.Man said he waxes over the decals and it helps take away the water marks and stuff.

I haven't got my hands on the wax yet. :(

okay, good, thanks :)

I was afraid it might make them peel or get up under the edges (darn revell decals  )

As long as they are sitting down really well you wont have a problem with the wax hurting them.
