91 town car wipers not working

I found the problem to my wipers not working. It is the intermittent control module under the dash. On the printed circuit board, one of the circuits was fried. I connected a jumper wire and another circuit fried itself on the module. Could this be caused by a bad wiper motor or is it just the control module that is bad?
