Blower fan working intermittently

Does anyone know what causes this? The majority of the time it works. But then it has it's moody times and won't turn on. Local auto parts store said it's either the switch right behind the lever or the relay behind the switch. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm gonna try and take it apart this weekend to see if I can see anything.
