I'm helping a friend on a 2001 concorde(210,000miles). We were driving and she just died. I gave him my mac scanner to read codes. In short he erased codes intead of writing down. Anyhow, one code was the input switch on side fo tranny. Replaced it. Still nothing. checked volts for relay on that switch and got 5 volts like book said. I'm at a loss. Fuel pump kicks of but I don't have right line to check pressure. Stupid 2.7. No fuel port. Anyhow, any advice would be greatly appreciated before I start chaseing wires and switches as it's a pain. Thanks everyone.

Ok, first I checked the continuity and ohms on the Input vss that the scanner said was bad. According to the book it's fine. Crank sensor and cam sensor are also good according to book. However, I decided to check the coil packs on top of each spark plug wire( I assume that's what they are). I have power running to them, but no juice to the plugs themselves. I can't imagine all 6 going bad at the same time. So, what the #### controls or runs the coils? I also checked the ign switch, it seems ok in all Positions. Please help.:crying:

the ASD (auto shutdown) relay powers up the coils and fuel pump. Try swapping it out with the starter relay or the A/C compressor relay and see what happens.
