02 accent ac problem

I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent with a 1.5 single ohc engine.I replaced the ac compressor today because the original one crapped out. After replacing it and recharging the system, I found that the low side is pulling a vacuum. I removed the freon and replaced the expansion valve thinking that it was probably full of crap from the spent compressor. Replacing the expansion valve didn't help. It still pulls a vacuum on the low side. I begane looking for the receiver/dryer and can't find one. They are usually located around the condenser on many foreign cars. I went ahead and blew out the condenser and all the lines up to the expansion valve and it still pulls a vacuum on the low side. I was sure all this was caused by a blockage, but there doesn't seem to be any blockage. Also, why does this car not have a dryer???? Probably why the compressor crapped out at 55K miles....it can't remove the moisture????? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

Old post, common issue.
Could be that the condensor is still restricted by debris from the compressor. The drier is integral with the condensor (on the left side) and serviced with the condensor as an assembly. Many newer vehicles now do this.
