Should I buy this?

O.k. I already have a 91 Civic Hatch. Well my friend calls and tells me if she wanted to know if I knew anyone who wants to buy her car. Well I ask what car is she sellin and she told me her 91 CRX. So I asked her how much she wanted to sell it for and she told me 400. So I was like :eek: I told her that I would buy it. It's pretty clean it needs some body work and it's leakin oil but you can't beat that for a clean car that runs ya know? So should I go through with it and get it? Thanks for any help guys.

yes go get it that is the deal of a lifetime, even if the engine is a complete loss you can swap a d16z6 in there for not a lot of money, and you can take your time and do it yourself and your hatch can be your daily driver. :D

See I was thinking the same thing except now I was thinkin of turnin my hatch into the looks department and make the rex my race car since it's alot lighter :D But where do I go to get my car registered and such? Usually my mom does all this stuff but I wanna do it myself because I know my mom won't let me have another car. Even though I have plenty of money and a job. Thanks again :D

hey man, if you don't want it, let me know. i'll drive out to get it if it's within 3 hours from houston or so. i'll take it off her hands for $400. i have to get rid of my '91 dx, so i need another one! let me know pls. thanx

The CRX Si is only about 115lbs. lighter than a Si hatchie, so which you decide on for a race car isn't a huge issue ;)

But I'd still get it. :D

Well her car isn't an Si. It's an automatice DX but she told me the guy she bought it from will swap in a manual for me if I go to his house and talk to him and stuff. Well I told my mom about it and she really didn't say anything so hopefully that silence means that she doesn't care what I do :D Well I'll keep you guys posted on what happens ;)
