I am just curious has anyone raced one of the new Thunderbirds yet they're supposed to have like 280hp and 286lb-ft of tq and a select shift trans?

There is also a new Thunderbird SC concept, with 390hp and 390lbft. It could easily see production.

It's covered in louvers and stuff, it's actually kinda badass ;)
It's a supercharged version of the 3.9 DOHC, actually, quite nice.

Yeah, it also doesn't help since the car weighs damn near 4,000 pounds.

Just heard today they will be killing off the Thunderbird later on like 05-06. This was from ls1.com though so I'm not so sure its a very reliable source for Ford information :smoker:
