This is the project I have been working on over the summer. I decided that Megasquirt was not running the car as good as I wanted it to. Start ups were not the best and the car would drive jerky at some points. So to get the drivability back of the stock computer I had to hook it back up. Since the stock ecu cant control fuel in boost I decided to add 4 more injectors that will be controlled by MS and only cut on in boost to add the extra fuel I need. Now the stock injectors will still be spraying fuel as well so the injectors I have will now go farther and I will be able to use ALL of the MS fuel map for boost. Before I had it half boost and half vac so my tuning will be much more precise.
Finally got everything installed over the last week and all of the leaks fixed. Took it for a spin yesterday. The car drove pretty good, has a lopy idle every now and then but settles down to 800rpms. Startups are awesome and I no longer have to pat the gas to keep it running in the morning. Car is a little jerky when the other injectors cut on and the car is still super lean but nothing tuning wont fix.
Overall Im pretty happy with the results so far, with a little tuning I believe this setup will much better than just running big injectors all the time.
Since the IM is cast alum I bought a 3/4" alum tube to fit the injectors in. Then found some alum brazing rods at harbor freight pretty cheap. Used an oxy acetylene torch to braze in the new bungs. Turned out very nice and strong. That second board on MS is controlling launch control, meth injection, and the secondary injectors.

Sounds awesome. Drivability is where its at. Wish I could see the pics right now but this computer at work doesnt load some images. I will have to peep em out later.

Why did you have to add a new board to MS?
Looks great. You should buy my heat barrier gasket and install on your intake mani. Just sayin

Dave the circuit on MS is basically to invert the signal. The MS outputs on the board send out a 5v signal when they 'turn on'. Which is not enough to trip a relay for meth or the secondary injectors. So basically i trigger a transistor with MS which grounds the relay tripping it on. And no I do not want any of your parts. Maybe an oil pump :)

Thats awesome..
Did you just keep trying different size tubing until the little o-rings on the injectors fit snug? Like that's the only thing I don't quite get. They snap in there securely?

Well there is only a few different sizes to choose from since I had to get aluminum tubing. I got one close enough that could make it work. Then I just pushed the injectors on and used tie wire to hold them in securely.

Yea I tried to bolt the rail down but the brackets were causing the rail to get pulled crooked so I changed it to the wire. It turned out much better. And also it makes it easier to remove on the car is I have to. Going to try a few tricks with the oil pump in the morning to see if I can get the pressures up.

That was my next question...if you had problems getting it to fit into place lol.
So, when I go to use my megasquirt to tune mine, and when I go to set up the portfueler injectors to ms, how exactly do I need to go about doing that? Bc theres 2 wires on the ms harness labeled "INJ". Havent hooked those up yet...bc I cant find any information on how to runt he 2 things together. Theres already a little fuel controller box running that portfueler..made by split second.

When hookin up megasquirt to the 4 inj you hook up 2 inj to each channel on ms. 1 and 3 and hooked together and also 2 and 4. There is a diagram online showing which channel to hook to which inj. You have the option of running the port fueler system or s for the injector controller. I chose to use ms bc it can also do spark and many other things. We will need to talk ab it more. Its not hard to setup but u have to do it a certain way
