2000 grand prix engine problem

I have a 2000 grand prix 3.1 L . last week when driving ,it just quit. now runs rough for a few seconds only with the gas pedal floored then dies, also has no oil pressure now! (Need HELP)!!!!!!! is there a engine shut off for no or low oil pressure

There is no engine shut off on this motor for low oil pressure (unfortunatly).

How are you determining it has low oil pressure? Do you have an aftermarket guage?

If this were a 3800, I'd say it sounds like a MAF sensor, but its a 3100. You could still try unplugging the MAF to see if it runs better.
