Which Code Reader will work on my truck?
Well that is kind of a broad question.
Do we get a multiple choice?

OBD11 or OBD1?
OBD1 you can jump pin A and B and read codes from check engine light.
But some and with OBD11 you will need a engine spefic scanner to read computer or get codes.

1994 should be OBD-I. As stated by MT, you can jump the two connectors below the dash on the driver's side to make the ECM show the code by flashing the CEL. No scanner needed.

94 may be missing a B terminal in the ALDL as a lot of the 94's were being phased into the beginnings of OBDII. So if you don't get the SEL flashes, don't get frustrated. You'll just have to find a scanner. Oreilley's and Advance have done it on my OBDII's, but they may not have the capabilities on an OBDI.
