2000 buick lesabre limited a/c on pass side only

here it is the air cond is only cold for the pass the drivers side is luke warm changed all settings took dash apart and found nothing changed cabin air filt the heat works fine on each side please help

This is just a guess. I think there are "doors" that are powered by a vacuum hose off the intake. Sounds like one of these that controls airflow to the passenger side may be stuck in the heat position or it is not receiving vacuum properly. If you can find the door check it for sticking and if you can find where the vac line splits off maybe you can gently ream it out with a coat hanger or see if something in there got disconnected.

Actually the blend door on this vehicle I believe is electronic and not Vacuum operated (those days seem to be gone...). Chances are the actuator has failed and will need to be replaced. It should be located behind the glove box. good luck....:runaround:

Really? That's weird. I'm doing my upper and lower intake gaskets right now on my 2001 and I could have sworn one of the things I disconnected was a vacuum line going through the firewall. I just assumed that's what that had to be...

Typical low refrigerant charge scenario....find and fix your leak-evac and recharge to factory spec and it will be cool on both passenger and driver's side.

Refrigerant enters the side of evap that feeds passenger side first-- not enough left to cool the side that affects driver's side..

Hint, your leak is probably the compressor shaft seal and body o-rings-- seen hundreds like yours....

Top it up, I had same problem a month ago and there was about 10 degree warmer on the drivers side. Fill it and she blows nice and cold now still no problems.
