Hello,

I jacked my cadillac up in the rear and replaced the rotors and pads. When I let it down, the rear is sitting higher than it was before I jacked it up. Does anyone know why this is?

Unless you broke or disconnected the level ride sensor link the car should return to level after the key is left on for a few minutes.

What is the level ride sensor link and where is it?

If equipped there should be a link from the rear control arm to a sensor.

look under the passenger side behind the right rear wheel. You will see a small rod connected to the air level monitor, a small black box connected to frame and the other end of the rod to rear trailiing arm. The rod will have a push on black ball at the end. Make sure that is connected, they pop off easily.

I should've posted what was the issue. When I changed he rotors and pads, it was over a few days and I had disconnected the hose to the shocks so air had got in them. After that I discovered the shocks were bad along with the shock pump. Needless to say all that has been fixed and working fine.
