2002 Trailblazer rattling in top half of motor

I had a mechanic look at my trailblazer he said the rattling is from the top half of my motor and he would have to take it apart to look at it and see what the rattling is. Any idea what this might be and a cost if it is a pulley or tension something? This thing always has something wrong with it and I can't afford a car payment on a new vehicle....HELP!

From here there is no way to tell what is what, what does he plan on doing?

i am experiencing the exact same issue, my mechanic thinks my motor mounts could be replaced, but putting pressure on the tensioner relieves the rattling noise

Not the mounts, stick with the belt pulley accessory drive issue.
