Had a Check Engine light come on a few days ago and was going to have a friend scan for codes. When he plugged in his laptop there was no power (12v) at my plug/port. I checked the fuse on the side of the dash but i am wondering if there is another. Any help would be appreciated!

Which fuse did you check? Many vehicles power the OBD port through the cigarette lighter circuit.

You are correct. I was looking at the wrong fuse which I thought was for the "DTC". One we replaced the cirgarette lighter fuse we were able to get the codes. Turns out it was EVAP something or other. Cleared the code and the van ran EXCELLENT for a 1500 km trip to Manitoulin Island. Averaged 8.2 l/100km according to the overhead console.
