No Start Advice

I am a "new" Saab owner, having recently bought my 2001 9-3 with a 2.0 Turbo. Has been occasionally stalling at the stop light, but usually would start right up again. This has been happening more often and this morning, it would not start up again, so had to have it towed.
There might be hundreds of reasons, especially on a car with 170K miles, but if someone would like to take a shot at what might be wrong, I sure would appreciate the help/advice. I think it might be the fuel pump??
