I asked a month or 2 ago after I had my intake gaskets replaced about the p0440 code I was getting.....it would come and go...I had replaced the fuel cap...checked all the vacuum lines and anything with the fuel and for loose wires....well I had to replace the intermediate shaft the other day...and the one thing I did not check....the T nut on the cap at the throttle body....it was almost all the way off....I tightened it down and have not had a code since....I feel like an idiot ...but at the same time I dont...I was looking for the hard fix not the easy....oh well thinks for all the help everybody...oh and while I had the shaft off I changed the plugs since the # 3 plug is a pain.
Explains the intermittent code I was getting...when I was pushing the rig hard it was sucking lots of air and would pull the cap down hence the code would go out....now my fuel economy is better too.
Moral is check everything....lol:runaround:

#3 is why I went with the $9 dual plat plugs again. 100k miles out of those plugs...I doubt this thing will make it to 200k anyway lol.
