02 Echo a/c fan noise

My blower fan is noisy. Sounds like the bearings in the motor are going. Anyone know of a source for a low cost relacement? Also, I checked my spark plugs at 49,000 miles. I was surprised to find that they were very worn and had a gap of .055. I replaced them with OE NGK's gapped at .032.

I had a similar problem on my 01 Echo. It started to make loud screeching noises when I turned on the A/C and it got progressively worse. It go so bad it screeched even when I turned on the fan only. I could not get it to go away (rosin on belt, replaced fan belts, etc.), and no one had any ideas. Then a strange thing happened, I replaced my spark plugs at 92,000 miles and it all went away. Now, I only get occasionally noises when I run the A/C. I do not know if this will help anyone, but it solved my problem.
