location of door lock relay 95 Suburban

Had a post a while back about bad door lock actuators. I tried new actuators and tried cleaning contacts, etc. No dice, only the drivers door has full operation. Other doors will lock but will not unlock unless I continue to press the button several times. Unless anyone has any ideas, I'm thinking it's the door lock relay.

I can hear it click underneath my dashboard, but I can't visually locate it. Does anyone know what to look for? And is it fairly easy to replace? I've heard that it has a live wire and that I need to disconnect the batter when replacing it. Is that true?

Other than the relay, what else could cause this situation?

Relay is on the right of brake pedal bracket.
But relay powers all doors at the same time.
What size sub 2 0r 4W and what engine?

You may have a wiring problem or weak switch.
Check switch and wiring to actuators.

Well, we finally got it fixed. It was the door lock relay. I guess it was broken enough that it wasn't sending out enough juice for the unlock to the doors other than the drivers.

We didn't even get a new relay we just swapped it out for one from our 94 Suburban which is still in the process of being rebuilt. Now it all works. We even swapped out a door actuator from the 94 to the 95 and finally for the first time since 1998 the rear barn doors lock and unlock.

When I asked the parts guy at my local GM dealer he wasn't sure what it could be because he said these era Suburbans/GM trucks hardly ever have door lock problems beyond the actuators. (I told him we tried a new one and it still didn't work) He guessed a wiring problem.lol
