ECU in B16a?

Hey what's up I have a JDM B16a with a CAI and full header back exhaust. Some of the guys I know said I have my ECU chipped or reprogrammed. But I've also heard from other people that it wouldn't do any good because I don't have different cams and stuff, is this true? Would it hurt me or help me? Should I wait until I get cams and stuff too? Thanks

it will help. i'm running a Skunk 2 ECU on my JDM B16A, And it works fine. Most ECU's are programed to burn more fuel, more hp, etc. Eventually, as you bolt on. You'll need it.

Would'nt do any good? That's retarded. It would allow you to run a B16A on a P28. I'd call that good.
