Thanks man, I usually build supras, but decided to take a break and for some reason went on a ferrari building spree, now I have as many ferraris as supras, lol. and the R8 was going to be white, but i was out of that color and didnt want to stretch the process for too long (as i said this was done completely in 2 days) so i painted it with the one color i had stocked up the most, and it actually came out looking pretty good, im really happy with it.

Yes sir, 2 days, and not 2 full days in that, the longest part of the build was the paint, but i took a risk and left it out in the blazing sun at 98*F for 2 hours and it seemed to have cured to where the fingerprints did not affect it, i gambled and this time one :) more often than not i end up putting fingerprints into fresh paint b/c i cant wait to see how the body will look finished.

The quality of the kit was really good i thought, interior was nice and clean, engine components fit together nicely, to be honest i didnt even sand the body before layin down the paint.

If proper time is taken and quality work put in, this can be a VERY cleanly built model, VERY.

I did see another revell kit though at michales... and it wasnt the same one i bought from hobbytown.. the one i bought came in a long flat box, but the one at michaels came in a taller, but shorter box. Im not sure what the difference is.

hmm, maybe the one you had was the Revell of Germany? Do you know the item # perhaps?

Thanks,

Stuart
