I 1st thought it felt like a miss, but when I drive it it feels more like it's kind of jumping over 2nd. If I manually shift it it feels fine or if I put it in overdrive and run it pretty hard it seems OK also. Could a modulater do that as there is no trans codes stored in memory?
I forgot to say this is a 1996 Monte Carlo with a 3.1L and OD..Thanks

Modulator would affect all shifts, a scan with a trans function scanner can command all shifts and check internal solenoids.

Thanks as that is what we are going to do tomorrow.
